Guided Mindfulness Meditation for Students

Illinois Schools: Effective January 2025, Illinois Senate Bill 2872 allows schools to partner with community organizations to provide 20+ minutes (per week) of relaxation instruction for students.

Mindfulness meditation offers numerous benefits for students, helping them manage the stress and pressure of academics, social relationships, and personal challenges. Regular mindfulness practice can improve focus, emotional regulation, mental clarity, and self-compassion. It also fosters resilience by teaching students to handle difficult emotions, reducing anxiety and promoting a sense of calm.

Sarah Bland leads 20-minute, 30-minute, or 60-minute guided mindfulness meditation sessions tailored for students. Topics include self-compassion, mindful breathing, present moment awareness, and more.

Providing students with access to resources like this in their school day is a way to proactively support students' mental health and a school culture of wellbeing.

Virtual and in person guided mindfulness meditation sessions are available at a rate of $150 per session. A minimum of 60 minutes of meditation sessions is required for booking; this can be broken up into multiple smaller back-to-back sessions (e.g., three 20-minute sessions, two 30-minute sessions, etc...).

At this time, we are only offering this to high school students.
