In this practice, we’ll create a supportive space to release tension, ground your energy, nurture your inner calm, and pay attention to your mind and body.

If you are curious about mindfulness meditation, have heard about the benefits of meditation but aren't sure where to begin, or want to see what it is like to reflect and meditate with a small group, this is the place for you!

While the instruction and pacing of this practice is structured to support meditators who are just beginning, everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to meditation or an experienced practitioner. Ultimately, this session will leave you feeling more present, balanced, and ready to navigate your day with clarity and peace.

Topics include bodymind awareness, self-compassion, cultural deconstruction, loving-kindness, emotional awareness, aligning with your authentic self, radical imagination, and more.

As we are meeting in a wellness cafe, your ticket price also includes a beverage of your choice (coffee, tea, or cold-brew).

What to bring:

  • A journal
  • Cushion or pillow, blanket, or whatever you need to feel comfortable during our meditation. You can choose to sit on the floor, lay, or sit in a chair. Space is limited.A few chairs and a couch are available as well.
